Empowering Women Through Creative Wellness

At Thrive By Design, I help women navigate perimenopause and menopause with strength, clarity, and support. Through a unique blend of wellness coaching, movement, art classes, and creative expression, I offer a holistic approach that helps women feel better in their bodies, reconnect with themselves, and move through this season with more confidence and resilience.

About Virginia

I’m Virginia Crowe — a menopause and perimenopause coach, personal trainer, artist, author, and creative wellness guide. My work brings together science-based fitness, nutrition, emotional wellness, and creative expression to help women feel stronger, more grounded, and more connected to themselves during midlife and beyond.

I hold certifications as a NASM Personal TrainerCorrective Exercise SpecialistPerformance Enhancement Specialist, and CrossFit Endurance Coach. I’m also certified in Precision Nutrition, a Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist, and a Certified Art for Healing Facilitator.

Basically, I believe women need more than “eat less, move more” advice — especially during perimenopause and menopause. Our bodies change, our energy changes, our recovery changes, and sometimes our patience disappears somewhere between the car keys and the laundry room. My goal is to help women understand what’s happening in their bodies and build realistic strategies around strength training, movement, nutrition, recovery, and emotional wellness.

I’m also the author of Unlocking the Soul, a creative journaling and emotional healing book designed to help people process life through writing, art, reflection, and self-discovery. Creativity has always been one of my favorite ways to move through hard things, and I love helping others use art journaling, abstract art, and creative practices as tools for emotional clarity and resilience.

Outside of coaching, I’m a mom to an incredible 21-year-old son who has autism and continues to teach me more about love, patience, humor, and seeing the world differently than any textbook ever could.

When I’m not coaching or creating, you’ll usually find me running, hiking, exploring new places, taking photos, making art, traveling, or looking for any excuse to be outside. I believe life is better with movement, color, curiosity, strong coffee, good trails, and a little bit of adventure.

My mission is simple: to help women feel strong, capable, creative, and supported through one of the most powerful transitions of their lives.

"Virginia has transformed my journey through menopause into a creative adventure. The coaching sessions helped me find strength and embrace my artistic side again. I can't thank you enough!"
