Menopause and Perimenopause Coaching with Virginia Crowe

I offer menopause and perimenopause coaching through 1:1 training, partner training in Laguna Hills, and online coaching programs designed to help women adjust their fitness, nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle habits as their bodies change in midlife.

As Dr. Stacy Sims is known for saying, “Women are not small men” — and that matters. Our hormones, recovery, metabolism, muscle, bone health, energy, and stress response all shift during this phase, which means the old “eat less, do more cardio, push harder” approach often stops working.

My coaching helps you understand what is happening in your body and how to train, fuel, recover, and support yourself differently — without extreme diets, random workouts, or guessing your way through it.

Because every woman’s body, schedule, symptoms, and goals are different, I start with a free consultation so we can talk through what’s going on, what kind of support you need, and which option fits your lifestyle best.

Available options include in-person 1:1 training, partner training, online coaching, and customized support plans.

Contact me to schedule your free consultation and start building a body that works with this phase of life — not against it.

Nutritional Support During Perimenopause and Menopause

Nutrition matters more during perimenopause and menopause because your body becomes less forgiving of “winging it.” Blood sugar, muscle mass, energy, sleep, mood, inflammation, digestion, and body composition can all be affected by the way you fuel yourself. I don’t believe most women need a dramatic diet overhaul or another restrictive plan that makes life miserable. Instead, we look at what you’re already doing, what’s working, what’s not, and where small, strategic changes could make a real difference. When needed, we can discuss nutrition in depth — including protein, fiber, hydration, alcohol, meal timing, recovery fuel, and how to support your body without obsessing over every bite

Emotional Wellness During Perimenopause and Menopause

Emotional wellness matters during perimenopause and menopause because this phase can test your patience, confidence, identity, and nervous system in ways you may not expect. While I do not provide therapy, I do offer creative tools that can help you process, reset, and reconnect with yourself. Through art journaling, abstract art practices, creative prompts, and simple mindfulness-based exercises, we can create space for the emotions that don’t always fit neatly into words. Sometimes you don’t need to “fix” the feeling — you need a healthy place to put

Read more: Why menopause coaching matters

Women know what menopause is.

What they don’t always know is that they may need support navigating it.

That was the missing piece for me too.

I knew my body was changing. I could feel it. The workouts that used to work didn’t hit the same anymore. My energy shifted. My body composition started changing. Recovery took longer. My patience got thinner. My brain didn’t always feel as sharp. Some days I felt strong and capable, and other days I wondered why everything suddenly felt harder than it used to.

And here’s the frustrating part: a lot of women are told some version of, “That’s just aging.”

That is not good enough.

Yes, our bodies change during perimenopause and menopause. Hormones fluctuate. Muscle becomes more important. Strength training matters more. Recovery matters more. Protein, sleep, stress, blood sugar, mobility, bone health, and nervous system regulation all become part of the bigger picture.

But most women are not given a clear roadmap.

That’s where coaching comes in.

Menopause coaching is not about “fixing” you. You are not broken. It’s about helping you understand what is happening in your body so you can stop fighting yourself and start making changes that actually support this phase of life.

I help women adjust their fitness routines so they are not just burning calories, but building strength, protecting muscle, supporting bone health, improving balance, and creating a body that can carry them powerfully into the next several decades.

I also help with nutrition habits, recovery, energy management, and the emotional side of this transition. Not therapy — but real-life support. Creative outlets. Journaling. Mindset tools. Movement strategies. Ways to get through the hard moments without feeling like you’re losing yourself.

Because sometimes the hardest part is not just the body changing.

It’s the feeling that nobody prepared you for it.

I’m going through this too, which means I’m not coaching from a textbook or some detached “expert” pedestal. I understand the belly changes, the fatigue, the brain fog, the weird sleep, the frustration, and the moments when you think, “What is happening to me?”

My job is to help you answer that question — and then help you do something about it.

I can also help you prepare better questions for your healthcare provider so you can walk into appointments with more clarity, confidence, and direction. You deserve real information. You deserve options. You deserve to understand your own body.

This phase is not the end of your strength, confidence, or vitality.

But it is a sign that your old approach may need an upgrade.

And that’s exactly what I help you do.

Contact me for a free consultation and we’ll talk through the best coaching option for your body, your schedule, and your goals.
